Is It Safe To Put Hydrocortisone Cream.........?

on your face? How about near your eyes, especially if you are very careful?

Why is it that it is not recommended for the face?|||I%26#039;ve put it on my face before and my complexion is beautiful the next day. I keep a tube of it in my make up case for emergencies only.|||Depends on the purpose for which u wish to use the cream.

Such creams do come for eyes.|||Yes, but ONLY IF you are under specialist supervision (ie the dermatologist told you to use it there).

I%26#039;ve had various creams prescribed for my face over the years- including some of the strongest steroid ointments available. They can feel like they are burning and they do thin the skin, but they can help when nothing else seems to.

Don%26#039;t use steroid creams or ointments on your face unless your doctor prescribes it!|||No its not licensed to put on your face. This is because it is a steroid cream, meaning it is too strong to be put on such delicate skin - particuarly around the eyes. I am a pharmacy assisstant, so can tell you we would not be allowed to sell it for use on the face! sorry!

See your doctor to prescribe an alternative, or ask your local pharmacy for advice.
